Studio Fynn's "Icon" is a fitness tracking wearable device designed with fashion in mind over tech. Its modular design allows the teardrop-shaped device to snap into a variety of enclosures including necklaces, bracelets, and clip-on attachments.
I was prompted with creating abstract renders of Icon that highlight its form & material language. Water, milk, and rain served as primary inspirations.
Fluid simulations were done with Realflow in Cinema 4D and rendered with Octane
The necklace form was simulated using Cinema 4D hair physics
